Doubly Nice

This is my first attempt at doing a double stone wrap. The copper wire is a little harder to work with then Sterling because it’s so much softer working with “dead soft” wire with either. I think it came out ok though.

Materials: petoskey stone copper wire sterling wire

Techniques: wire wrapping patina

Thank you for such encouraging sweet compliments.
@Terri,….lol….After all the bending and twisting and biting my tongue with doing this pendant, I felt a bit of relief in that I hadn’t totally mucked it up like I thought I was going to because the copper wire bends so easily and can end up “kitty wampass” if you mess with it to much. I think that as a jewelry artisan there are times when we are to critical of our own work and don’t really see the total beauty of it because we have just stared at what we are doing for the last 2 or more hrs and we become a bit desensitized to it as well. lol

You are so right! But again, this is just beautiful. You should be very proud of it.
