Flowerstone necklace

More pretty pictures! Everyone and everything wanted my attention during the prime light time while I was doing the last batch of pictures, but I still managed to do up a couple of the newer makes that have been sitting around and waiting for me to prettify them.

This one is BC Flowerstone in copper.

Materials: bc flowerstone copper wire

Techniques: viking knit square wire cage twisting square wire

A flower does not compete with the beauty around it, it just blooms.

Really pretty. I love that stone; very unique.

This is stunning! I would love to hear more about your camera techniques.

The short story with my camera is: I cut up a cardboard box, lined it with translucent white fabric, and then put a piece of bristol board inside for a seamless background. I use white bristol board to reflect light into the box, along with the ambient light from the window. I then use my phone on macro to take pictures in various positions.

Speaking of my phone, I have a newer one now, and I’m not as practised with it. The autofocus is more sensitive than my last one, and the manual settings are, as of yet, confusing me.

I’ve been meaning to do a blog post and/or video about it.
