Made from 16 gauge sterling silver wire, this project begins by forming a coil around a 3/16in steel rod. Bracing the top of the coil in the notch of the pin I cut at an angle to make individual jump rings. They are then either opened or closed in a 4:2 O:C ratio and sorted. Then the fun begins linking them together in the same repeating pattern of 12 rings which make about ¾in per section. I usually finish it with a hammered S clasp, but this customer wanted one that closed so I added a 15×11mm figure 8 lever clasp. Each bracelet weighs over an ounce and is approximately 7.5mm wide.
