Fighting Cancer

This is off subject really, but I have been quiet from our community and from jewelry itself for a while as my beloved partner, my husband and love of my life Bob is once again faced with his own mortality. Having one of his kidneys removed 3 years ago as a result of a cancerous tumor, he has been checked every 6 months. This check up revealed the cancer is back putting him at Stage 4. His prognosis is not very good so all of my energy is now spent on holding myself together so that I can be strong for him. Please include Bob in your prayers. Thank you.

Thoughts and positive energies coming your way – to you, to your hubby, and to his medical support team.

Thank you all.

Martha I am sorry I am just seeing this. I will say extra prayers for you and your family. You are not in this alone! I just went through it with my dad and you have to take care of yourself in order to take care of your husband. I am here if you need to talk or vent. Sometimes its easier to talk to a stranger. (((HUGS))))

Martha,

Praying for peace for you and your family and friends, health and peace for your husband, knowledge and compassion for his health care team.

My brother was diagnosed with oral cancer three years ago, had surgery, chemo and radiation. 16 months later he was diagnosed with stage 4a oral cancer again. He had six surgeries in 3 weeks and is alive today.

God does bless us everyday.

Tammy

Sorry, I’m just now reading this want to let you know I’m thinking of you in this hard time, sending you “hugs” & prayers

Martha Brownell ...

Thank you for your kind comments. My husband is fighting this, taking one of the few drugs available for renal cancer patients since chemo is not an option. The drug has awful side effects but he continues to fight. Thanks again, wouldn’t it be wonderful if cancer was a thing of the past? It’s heartbreaking. My heart goes out to all of you with cancer or who have loved ones with it.

You and your husband are in my prayers, it would be so wonderful if cancer was a thing of the past.

I have been thinking of you and your husband Martha. Prayers are being sent for you all. There is always hope hon, my dad just had his scans last week and is cancer free thank the lord. I wish this for your husband. Take care and continued prayers.

Martha Brownell ...

Thank you Kimberly, such kind words. I miss my jewelry, feeling creative and sharing with my friends here. It’s so strange how something like this changes you. My confidence is gone, which as you know is essential to creating. Thanks again for your prayers. It’s means so much.

Marta ...

Hang in there Martha…. we’re all still thinking of you and your family!

Martha Brownell ...

Thanks Marta!

I sent you a private email a couple of weeks ago. Just wondering how your husband is doing now, and how YOU are doing. Please read my email. You’ll understand more. Know that you are loved and being prayed for, both of you. And you are not in this alone.
