Looking for bracelet solution

Forum: Jewelry Making

Hello! I am working on some bracelets that are intended to stay on once they are put on. The only way to get them off is cut them off.

It is a single charm with wax cotton cord on either side.

The obvious solution is to tie the cord into a knot. But, I would prefer a cleaner look and have been searching for something like a “locking bead” that when strung or tightened to where the wearer wants it, it stays put and isn’t removable.

Does anyone have any ideas?
I’m open to alternative string/cord types if that matters.

Thanks so much!

What about using a crimp and crimp cover bead? I’ve used a couple of different style crimp cover beads to hide wire wrapped ends and I know they make crimp locks, so maybe those might help solve your problem.
